Pumpkin pancakes with red caviar and chives

Ingredients

Pumpkin 0.7 kg
Onion 0.05 kg
Egg 1 pc.
Salmon roe 1 small jar
Sour cream
Chive
Wheat flour
Salt, pepper

Preparation

Wash pumpkins, slice in half and core them, taking out the mush and the seeds. Slice the pumpkins into strips and peel. Afterwards, grate the strips on a medium-coarse grater. Add egg, a dash of salt and pepper and some nutmeg to the pumpkin. Mix and keep adding flour until the batter is similar in consistency to batter for potato pancakes. Fry the pancakes on oil.
After the frying is finished, place the pancakes on a plate, and put a tablespoon of red roe on each, and sliced chive with sour cream on the side. This dish tastes great and is simple to make. Salmon roe can be substituted with smoked salmon slices.
