Western Masuria, where Hotel SPA Dr Irena Eris Wzgórza Dylewskie is located, is a subregion of Masuria. It is rich in tourist attractions and places of interest, including the most famous ones: the Ostródzko-Elbląski Channel, Grundwald, and the Castle in Ostróda, St Mary’s Sanctuary in Gietrzwałd, the Open Air Ethnographic Museum in Olsztynek or the Market Square in Iława. The local forests together with the Dylewskie Hills Landscape Park boast unique fauna and flora. The areas around the Dylewska Mountain form a landscape and visual peculiarities. They are rated among the most morphologically varied areas of the Chełmińsko-Dobrzyńskie Lake District and the highest hills of the Polish lake districts (the highest hill – the Dylewska Mountain [Dylewska Góra] is 312 m above sea level). During winter, there is a T-bar skiing lift operating on this mountain. Three nature reserves , have been created within the area of the Landscape Park. There are educational trails running through the reserves and two areas of wilderness can be found there. The picturesque area is ideal for cycling tours, horseback riding in the field, and hiking.
